After its four-year construction period, Tongji University’s Museum has created six series of exhibitions, notably: promoting traditional culture, inheriting intangible heritage culture, understanding the important countries and regions along the Belt and Road Corridor, approaching masters of trades, Tongji people and national art funds.

In 2019, the museum of our university continued to showcase permanent halls of exhibition, including the Chinese Architecture and Architectural Culture Exhibition Hall, Chinese Gardening and Traditional Art Exhibition Hall and Chinese Ancient Machinery Restoration Model Exhibition Hall. At the same time, seventeen exhibitions were introduced and co-hosted with other organizations, taking the lead among the university museums in the country.

Once the exhibitions were publicized and opened, large audiences were attracted. More and more people love to visit the museum, to expand their artistic horizons and to improve their aesthetic appreciation.
