Vice President of Université Paris-Dauphine Visits Tongji

Mr. Christophe Elie-Dit-Cosaque, Vice President of Université Paris-Dauphine (UPD) in France, paid a visit with his colleagues to Tongji University on the afternoon of Mar. 22nd.

Executive Vice President of Tongji University WU Jiang met with the delegation from UPD. WU introduced the overall situation of Tongji, reviewed the history of the cooperation between the two universities, and proposed suggestions for their cooperation in the future.

Christophe Elie-Dit-Cosaque stated there was great potential for cooperation between the two universities in economy, management, sustainable development, innovation, and student entrepreneurship.

In addition, the delegation from UPD had a further discussion with the representatives from the School of Economics and Management, Tongji University on their cooperation mode, and visited UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development.

Université Paris-Dauphine (UPD), also known as Université Paris IX Dauphine, was established in 1968 as a successor university of Université de Paris in its dissolution. UPD is the only public university with ‘Grand Établissement (Grand Establishment)’ and the first public university to be accredited by the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). Its preponderant disciplines include Management, Economics, Mathematics, and Computational Science. Tongji University and UPD have now launched a non-academic student exchange program in environment and sustainable development.
