A Student from Tongji University Enters Bayern Munich Hacker Marathon

The five-day Bayern Munich Hacker Marathon opened in Munich, Germany, on Jan. 18th. WU Xiuzhe, a postgraduate student from Class 2015 at College of Electronics and Information Engineering, Tongji University, stood out among numerous applicants from more than 40 countries and was selected as one of the eight Chinese competitors among the 220 total participants. From January 18th to 22nd , WU teamed up with other international participants to face the challenges together.
Seamlessly combining technology and sports, the Bayern Munich Hacker Marathon requires the participants to compete in a team of three or four people. There are seven challenges in the Marathon including Soccer Fans’ Individual Experience, Mathematical Analysis, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, International Soccer Fans’ Web and Innovative Service. On Jan. 21st, all Marathon participants watched Bayern Munich’s home match at the Allianz Arena.
